   I decided to add a Fluoride cartridge to my home filter system, since I never was comfortable about drinking water that contained Fluoride compounds, especially when I learned Fluoride and Bromine block the body from absorbing Iodine which many organs in the body need. That is when I started filtering the unwanted Fluoride from my drinking water, but wasn't able to find a Fluoride filter that didn't use Aluminum, which is also bad for the body.
   
   Finally, two years ago I discovered the FLUORSORB-MAX filter which is alumina-free. Now my water filter system has a particle filter, an activated charcoal filter, and a FLUORSORB-MAX filter. There is also an empty filter space for a radiation filter should there be another nuclear event like the nuclear reactor meltdowns at Fukushima, Japan of several years ago. (I keep the radiation filter, which I also bought from Perfect Effect Filters, available and ready to install in the empty filter housing should it be needed.)
   
   My filter system is installed my basement and feeds the drinking water spout at my kitchen sink and the ice maker in my refrigerator. It's a good feeling to drink a fresh glass of water, knowing it is fresh and safe to drink. We also use water from the filter system for cooking.

   I am a health addict constantly looking for the best for me and my family. I've been using a water filtration system for the past 20 years and never really paid attention to what was inside the cartridges. All i cared about is clean, healthy and good tasting water. Recently, after having some stomach issues, i have discovered that the cartridge i had been using to remove the Fluoride is filled with Alumina and could have been the cause of my problems. So after much search, i came across PureEffect . I sent few emails with questions and got prompt responses. I live chatted with Igor(owner) and talked to him on the phone before ordering the FLUORSORB-MAX . I received a two page instructions with important and valuable information just for the single cartridge!
   The water pressure in my kitchen is very high and Igor made me aware of the importance of regulating the water flow for proper filtration to occur and since i had a separate cold faucet to the system, a simple turn down of the faucet lowered the water pressure and made a difference in the taste of the water.
