   I do not normally write reviews. After owning a Berkey for about a year, I decided to look for a better filter which removes radiation, as well as all the normal contaminants, and fluoride. I decided upon Pure Effects after much research, as they are an American Company, with what I feel is the best system, and great people to deal with as well. Their service, as well as their product are both top notch. I have been using this filter for awhile now, and it is much better than my Berkey. Actually ,night and day different. The water it produces is crisp, clean, and tastes how water should. It is easy to setup, and use. I could not be more satisfied.    I love the design and ease of using this filter. Hooked it up in five minute. It is great to know I'am not getting radiation in my water along with all the other garbage that is in tap water .    I just wanted to write a quick note and say how happy I am with my unit. We did a side by side comparison with the Berkey Lite and the water tasted much much better. I really like the fact that it hooks right up to the faucet and I don't have to keep refilling it over and over again. There is definitely a difference with the anti-radiation filter and I actually feel like my thirst is quenched after drinking water from this filter. In fact, since I got it I haven't had that parsed feeling where I have to drink four or five glasses of water in a row. I believe this is due to the infusion of minerals that most bottled water and filters remove during the purification process.

   I must tell you that I've never been so pleased with a purchased product as your three chamber water revitalizing system. In my youth I occasionally hiked along alpine meadows in Utah's Uinta mountains drinking pristine snow-melt milky appearing water.    I'm usually a picky water drinker, and I LOVE the taste of Pure Effect water. I've had the Ultra system for the past few months and it's worked great (no leaking, etc). I've also been really impressed with Pure Effect's incredible customer service. I wish there were more companies like them in the world that truly care about their customer's happiness and success with their products.    Well I am not much for writing reviews on products that I purchase but in this case I think it may be somewhat necessary. We did endless research on filtration systems before We decided to try this one. We were tired of going to the local stores and filling up plastic, chemical leaching jugs with cleaner water than the municipal water with flouride added to "protect your teeth" <----Yeah right.... I figure if you are reading this you probably already know how ridiculous that is. Anyways, This unit was pretty easy to install. I needed plumbers tape to stop it from leaking but that was no big deal as I had some left from the shower filters I had just installed. (We rent and have a cheap faucet that we didn't exactly pick out.) Once installed it has been absolutely great. And now we just use glassware to drink out of. Best tasting, feeling, hydrating water I think I have ever had. I only wish we could get our hands on one of those AntiRad cartridges. Hopefully this will happen soon. After purchasing this unit we learned that our city not only has some of the cleanest drinking water in the country and will, by 2012, be installing a chemical free UV municipal water system. At the same time I hear people complaining that our sewer system is somehow meshing with the drinking water??? Regardless of all this I will be keeping my PureEffect unit because anything the news or any government agency says CLEARLY cannot be trusted. PureEffectFilters has a customer for life. I hope they come out with shower filters as reasonably priced and effective as this drinking water unit truely seems to be. I can't say enough good about the live chat consultation and fast delivery and quick install (and help received on live chat with the installation). I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to start drinking clean water in a timely manner. I seriously doubt you will regret it. I know I don't. (Posted on 7/24/2011)
