LEAK-STOPPER | (For Undercounter Filters) A Device that Helps Protect Against Leaks/Floods

Although our filter systems are already designed with significant leak-resistant features such as: Double O-ring input/output elbows and housing connectors, high-grade valves and pressure tested housings and tubing, this ingenious little device provides yet an additional level of protection against leaks for greater peace of mind.  It connects to the Input line of our Undercounter filter systems and upon detecting water, automatically shuts off the water flow to the system. 

The device contains a moisture sensitive pad which expands upon detecting water, this expansion triggers a valve closure and stops the water flow.  It comes with a total of 3 one time use replacement tablets.  We don't anticipate you having a single leak (over thousands of units sold, our systems have not had any leaks when properly installed), but this device serves as extra insurance in unusual cases where leaks may occur, e.g. installation mistakes, accidental damage to system, improper maintenance, etc.

Can also be used on other water using appliances where a 1/4" OD (Outer Diameter) tubing is used as the input line.

*Install a pressure regulator if your PSI exceeds 80, or there are water pressure spikes, pipe hammer effect, etc.
Do not use device in areas where humidity exceeds 70%.  Although this device provides a signficant level of protection against leaks, it should not be relied on solely.  Common sense, proper care and attention to your appliances should not be excluded.
