ULTRA-WH-PRO (Whole House) | Chemicals, Heavy Metals, Sediment & Hard Water

In Stock

NOTE: For optimal drinking water, we recommend our Countertop/Undercounter systems. They filter even more thoroughly and remove a wider range of contaminants, including those that can leach from your home's pipes after the whole house filter.

Whole house system cannot be installed in crawlspaces.  Ships only within USA.

 CONFIGURE YOUR SYSTEM:

$2,649.00

The PureEffect ULTRA-WH-PRO advanced whole house filtration system.

ADVANTAGES (OVER COMMON TANK & R.O. SYSTEMS):

Legend: (tanks) = Tank units lack this. (r.o.) = Reverse Osmosis units lack this.

  • Compressed Carbon block: more thorough than granular (tanks)
  • DIY media changes saves $$$ on plumber visits (tanks)
  • No water waste by back-washing (tanks)
  • No messy media to refill (tanks)
  • No risk of re-contamination via media agitation/backwashing (tanks)
  • No fouling common with "maintenance-free" systems (tanks)
  • No bypassing/channeling of filtration media (tanks)
  • No membrane to break/clog/breed bacteria (r.o.)
  • Doesn't corrode plumbing system (r.o.)
  • Doesn't remove natural minerals (r.o.)
  • Doesn't double/triple water bill by waste water rejection (r.o.)

Will it fit? Measure first.  70" Height x 40" Width x 13" Depth. / Installation Prep. Guide

The ULTRA-WH-PRO whole house filtration system is the final piece to completing the optimal whole home clean-water approach.   After you've addressed your drinking water with one of our undercounter or countertop systems (which filter the most thoroughly), this advanced whole house system effectively addresses the remainder of your home's water.

 DESCRIPTION OF FILTRATION PHASES:

PHASE 1: (Particles)  Water first enters a clear housing with our 2-stage pre-filter: 25 micron outside, 1 micron inside. The coarser external layer catches rust, silt, sand, and dirt so the fine layer lasts longer and can take ~1 micron particles and many microplastics. 90%+ particle reduction in testing; it also protects the main cartridge. Food-grade 100% surfactant and adhesive-free polypropylene and NSF42, 61, & 372 compliant materials.

PHASE 2: (Chemicals & Heavy Metals) Next, an oversized 0.5 micron catalytic carbon block (optional 3 micron if household water pressure is low). Typical reduction ~85–99%, depending on the contaminant and flow. Targets PFAS, lead, mercury, chloramine, chlorine, DBPs, herbicides/pesticides, VOCs, and many other organics.  NSF 53 compliant.

PHASE 3: (Descaler-MAXTM) - optional   Final phase, use if hardness is above about 60 ppm.  After the water is cleaned, it can now undergo the natural descaling process using our Seed-assisted crystallization media.  This media grows hardness into tiny suspended crystals so they are much less likely to crust on pipes, heaters and water-using appliances, helping them last and work better. Beneficial Minerals stay in the water;  And since it's not a water softener, the taste, feel, pH, and mineral content of your water is preserved. Nothing is added.  WQA certified to NSF/ANSI 61 and 372; NSF/ANSI 42 for material safety.

Regarding fluoride removal: This contaminant is best removed directly at the kitchen tap with one of our under-counter or countertop systems. Optimal fluoride removal requires slower flow and more contact time. Fluoride is not a gas, so it does not evaporate in the shower—and skin uptake is negligible. Treating every gallon for toilets, laundry and water down the drain adds significant cost without much benefit.

 CONNECTION & COMPONENTS:

Required Power & Safety:
1.  GFCI outlet (Test/Reset buttons).  A GFCI adapter can be used instead of replacing the outlet if it's not GFCI.
2. Surge protector (included)

3. Leak-stopper device (included)

Plumbing:
Connects to the main cold water pipe where it first comes into the home before it reaches your water heater.  This is most commonly in the garage or basement.

Warning:  If you have a fire suppression system, ensure the water flow into it is connected BEFORE any water auto-shut off systems such as our leak-stopper device (included), so in case the shut-off is activated it does not cut water to the suppression system.
