This digital gallon meter allows you to keep track of your water usage and timely cartridge changes. As the water flows through, it drives a precisely calculated mechanism inside the device which counts down the set # of gallons (set to 500 for our 2, 3 and 4 chamber systems). The meter notifies you by an audible beep when you're approaching the set # of gallons, indicating that it’s time to change your cartridges. The display shows you the remaining gallons in 1 gallon increments and also the flow rate.
