This is a food-grade, ultra-pure silicone lubricant gel designed for lubricating the O-Rings of our filter system housings (do not lubricate oO-rings of filter cartridges). It meets both NSF and FDA guidelines for contact with drinking water components and is one of the cleanest silicone lubricants' available. It is an important part of proper maintenance of your filter system, and helps to sustain leak-free operation.

Please DO NOT use any other lubricant (especially oil-based ones), since many lubricants contain harsh chemicals and will oxidize, weaken and degrade the rubber o-rings of your filter system, increasing the likelihood of leaks.
