The Compact Model features our breakthrough Anti-Radiation technology, and is a optimally balanced for basic filtration needs. The COMPACT system is ideal if you just need some extra protection and revitalization of water that is already of good quality, you're on a tight budget, need a unit to travel with and/or don't need wide-range contaminant removal.
The filtration media in the system was specifically selected to not attract the beneficial minerals already in your water, so they remain. As a result, alkalinity is preserved and gently raised as acidic contaminants are removed and trace natural calcium is released from the filter—unlike artificial ionizer machines.
A built-in flow regulator keeps water from flowing through too fast. That contact time is what lets the media work more thoroughly—a feature most systems overlook.
The result is revitalized water: filtered, minerals-preserved, naturally alkaline and less oxidizing, with reduced ORP (oxidation-reduction potential).
DESCRIPTION OF FILTRATION PHASES:
PHASE 1: (Radioisotopes, Chemicals & Heavy Metals)
In this phase the water meets our AntiRad-Plus™ cartridge which contains KDF55®, activated zeolite and a third type of catalytic carbon. The zeolite is the same class of mineral used to capture radioisotopes in nuclear cleanup. This phase reduces heavy metals, radioisotopes and chemicals; KDF55® also lowers ORP through an electrochemical process, so the water is less oxidizing. Oxidation is what turns a cut apple brown or iron to rust.
CONNECTION & COMPONENTS:
Sits on your countertop next to the sink on the left or right side.
Plumbing:
Connects to your existing kitchen faucet using a diverter valve (included) in place of your current aerator (check compatibility), and by turning a small lever you redirect cool/cold water through the filter on demand, turning the lever off allows you to continue to use the kitchen's faucet for dishes, etc.
Components:
We do not cut corners on quality. All plastics are made of BPA & Phthalate-free precision machined, high-strength materials meant for drinking water applications. The system connections (in/out elbows, hex nipples) are made with double o-ring seals for enhanced leak-resistance. All tubing connections are quick-connect type for a much simplied and faster installation process.
The bracket which holds the system together is also made of stainless steel with a glossy white finish that will not rust or break over time (as often occurs with regular steel or plastic brackets used in inferior systems).
