   This rids the water of any chlorine, which I could readily feel. Its a more pleasant shower experience & feels cleaner without any chlorine residue. This is not to denigrate the efficacy of its filtration of other chemicals.
   I shall buy again.

   I bought this filter because my functional medicine practitioner recommended it. We have very hard city water and my copper toxicity levels were off the charts high as measured by a hair minerals and heavy metals test (HTMA). We were using a cheaper filter off of Amazon but obviously it wasn’t robust enough. My husband had a little bit of a hard time with installing this filter (make sure the cartridge is not backwards) but once it was properly installed and running I felt an immediate difference in the water quality. It’s better for our skin, hair, and most importantly our water should no longer be dumping gallons of copper into my skin. Heavy metal toxicity has a serious effect on hormones and other health systems so I highly recommend filtering your water. (Posted on 8/21/2023)

   Water feels, smells, and even tastes better (no we aren't drinking it on purpose, but whenever a little bit of shower water trickles in, it taste much much better than before). I am so happy we found PureEffect as I trust the legitimacy of the product 100% and the proof is in the water! I would recommend to anyone looking for a legit filter.    We have tried other shower filters and none compare to this one. The others were smaller and reduced the chlorine smell, but this one not only took the smell away completely but it noticeably made our hair softer as well, we don't have a water softener. I bought a year or so worth of cartridges, and will definitely keep buying as we need. (Posted on 9/11/2022)
