Will it fit? Measure first.
Needs at least 20" depth (front-to-back) and 15" height under the sink. Sits on cabinet floor against the left or right wall and sticks out 6" toward the middle.
The ULTRA-UC-DISINFECT is our most advanced undercounter system. It uses chemical-free disinfection technology and is built to give you water that feels closer to clean, natural sources.
It combines 4 different types of advanced activated carbons (unparalleled in the industry) for a very wide chemical removal range, plus 3 natural mineral-based media for heavy metals and radioisotopes.
It features our FluorSorb-MAX™ technology for superior fluoride removal and a nano-level (absolute 0.05 micron) ultrafiltration membrane to handle nanoplastics and microbes. An optional 2nd-generation UV-LED module adds extra chemical-free disinfection power.
We scientifically selected media that preserves the naturally occurring beneficial minerals in your water. Acidic contaminants come out, natural calcium neutralizes acids and alkalinity stays steady if sufficiently high (or gets a gentle lift if low)—without artificial ionization.
A built-in flow regulator keeps water from rushing through too fast. That contact time is what lets the media work more thoroughly. Most systems skip this.
The result: revitalized water that’s filtered, still has its minerals, stays naturally alkaline, and is less oxidizing (lower ORP). Oxidation is what turns a cut apple brown or turns iron to rust—lower ORP means gentler water.
DESCRIPTION OF FILTRATION PHASES
PHASE 1: (Chemicals & Sediment)
Water enters the first transparent purple chamber with our SuperBlock™—a proprietary 0.5-micron carbon block made from two catalytic-grade activated carbons plus KDF-F® media. This combination gives a much wider chemical removal range than typical blocks. It can be up to 15× more effective on chloramine than regular activated carbon. The tight 0.5-micron density also blocks microplastics and fine sediment—about 500× smaller than a grain of beach sand. KDF-F® helps protect the carbon from fouling early.
PHASE 2: (Nanoplastics & Bacteria)
Water then enters the second chamber with our absolute 0.05-micron Ultrafiltration Membrane. That size is about 7,000× smaller than a grain of beach sand, so it can capture nanoparticles and microbes—such as bacteria, parasites, mold spores, and nanoplastics—while naturally occurring minerals (angstrom-size) pass through. The ultra-fine pore size matters more now that plastics in drinking water are known to go below the microplastic range of 1 micron.
PHASE 3: (Fluoride)
Next, water enters the third chamber for fluoride reduction through our proprietary FluorSorb-MAX™ cartridge. It uses an alumina-free, natural calcium-carbon-phosphate formulation that removes fluoride to non-detectable levels in independent testing. Developed over 6+ years to significantly outperform activated alumina on removal %, consistency, and longevity without stripping beneficial minerals (unlike reverse osmosis or distillation).
No fluoride in your water? You still get the benefit of this phase. This unique media also targets various metals and radionuclides and can help raise pH. It works in synergy with the other cartridges for wider coverage.
PHASE 4: (Radioisotopes & Heavy Metals)
In the fourth chamber the water meets our AntiRad-Plus™ cartridge with KDF55®, activated zeolite, and a third type of catalytic carbon. The zeolite is the same class of mineral used to capture radioisotopes in nuclear cleanup. This phase reduces heavy metals, radioisotopes, and additional chemicals. KDF55® also lowers ORP through an electrochemical process, so the water is less oxidizing.
PHASE 5: UVLED (Viruses & Bacteria) — optional
As water reaches this optional final phase, it passes through our 2nd-generation UV-C LED. The ultraviolet light inactivates viruses and other microbes small enough to pass through the 0.05 micron membrane in Phase 2. This phase makes the most sense for water that isn’t already disinfected (such as well water) or when you want extra peace of mind on city water.
HOW UVLED WORKS: LEDs are enclosed (not visible). Filtered water flow turns them on. Target UV dose is about 40 mJ/cm² of UV-C—the level used to inactivate a wide range of waterborne microbes.
Ideal for city or well water. UV LED vs typical glass bulb UV:
- Maintenance-Free* (up to 10 year service life):
– No glass sleeve to break
– No bulb to burn out
– No bulb replacements
- Instant-on: no warmup
- Does not heat the water
- Saves energy: turns on when water flows
- UV monitor: audible & visual fault alert
- Chemical-Free: adds nothing to the water
CITY WATER?: Optional. The city already disinfects with chlorine or chloramine. This UV phase is an extra, chemical-free step at the tap if treatment fails, a main breaks, or notice is late. It does not replace a boil-water advisory.
WELL WATER?: Wells aren’t disinfected unless you shock them with chlorine or peroxide, or use ozone. Those methods work but can add byproducts and upkeep, and they can miss organisms from biofilms in the well or plumbing. This UV phase adds chemical-free disinfection at the tap. It can inactivate microbes that reach the system even if they tolerated a chemical treatment. It does not treat the well itself and does not replace well maintenance.
IDEAL WATER PARAMETERS FOR UV EFFICACY
- Hardness: <17 ppm
- Iron & Manganese <0.05 ppm
- Turbidity <0.1 NTU
- Tannins <0.1 ppm
CONNECTION & COMPONENTS
Installs under the sink, usually against the left or right cabinet wall. Standing it on the cabinet floor is recommended for easier maintenance.
Required Power & Safety:
- GFCI outlet (Test/Reset buttons). A GFCI adapter can be used instead of replacing the outlet if yours is not GFCI.
- Surge protector for US outlets (included); elsewhere, use a local unit.
- Voltage: Accepts 100–240 V. Outside the U.S., you only need a plug adapter—not a voltage converter.
- Flood protection: Leak-stopper and pressure regulator (included).
*Items 1–3 apply only to the UV-LED MAXIMUM Disinfection option.
Plumbing:
Connects to the cold line under the sink with our adapter. A dedicated faucet uses the sink’s spare hole (sprayer/soap). No spare hole: drill ½" (min) – 1¼" (max) diameter (use a pro if unsure).
Components:
We don’t cut corners. All plastics are BPA- and phthalate-free, precision-machined materials made for drinking water. Connections use double o-ring seals for better leak resistance, and tubing is quick-connect for faster, simpler setup. The faucet is lead-free brass and the bracket is stainless steel with a glossy white finish that won’t rust or crack the way cheaper steel or plastic brackets do.
