Extremely Happy - Exactly What I Was Hoping For in a Water Filter

I'm extremely happy with the water filter system. I researched and researched and finally found a filter that was capable of doing everything I needed it to do. I just recently found out, too, that the filter removes Glyphosate, (Roundup) from the water which has been linked to breast cancer. There are so many herbicides and chemicals and who knows what else in our water these days and all these contaminants can have such an ill effect on our health. The water filter system was super easy to install with minimum upkeep. The company has terrific customer service and any questions I have had were always quickly answered. It is exactly what I was hoping for in a water filter. My daughter went away for a few days - and you know what she really missed - the water. :)

Living near the Pacific Coast, we were looking for something to filter out radiation, aluminum, as well as all the other impurities many filters cover. Have been very happy with the unit we bought. Easy to set up. Works beautifully. Like the spout design. The water tastes good. We have good well water to begin with, and now we know it is really pure.

Looked and looked before I bought this system, I like the idea that it doesn't take everything out but does take the unwanted stuff out. Great system and easy to install and use.

Absolutely the best purchase you can make. After much research into water purification products I found the Pure Effect Filter System to have incredible quality of design, manufacture and customer service, in addition to great tasting pure water. I've never been able to drink tap water without being left with a metallic after taste and a sense that I was more thirsty than before. Kicking the bottled water habit became a priority after sensing a degradation in even the water that I was purchasing and finding that the plastic leeches into the water. I was concerned about the environmental impact of all that plastic. Through exploring this website I found a wealth of valuable information and a high level of customer service. I am over joyed with the products quality construction and ease of installation. The water that I now refrigerate in glass containers has a great taste and I'm confident that it is purified from toxins like fluoride, chlorine, heavy metals, pharmaceuticals and now radiation, that are even present in bottle water. Happily the Nestle corporation does NOT have my business now as I feel that drinking pure water IS a right that we should all have as human beings sharing this planet.

I was hesitant to spend money on a water filter, but now I'm so glad I did. I also did some research and decided that this system was the best I could find for the price. The reviews helped me make up my mind. It was easy to set up(even for un-handy me!) and now I actually like drinking water. I needed to kick my diet soda habit, but didn't want to drink water out of plastic bottles. This water tastes so much better than bottled, and more importantly is a very necessary ingredient in health maintenance.

I've been researching different water filters for months and this unit met and exceeded my needs as far as the contaminates it removes. I also live in an apartment that is very small (thank you Manhattan) and this unit fit the small space I have and hooked up very easily. No issues. No leaks. Incredibly clean and great tasting water. I was also happy to find out that this company is local. Thank you very much for the clean water!! Here's to our health! Cheers!

MERCHANT COMMENT:
Thank you for your review. The water flow is purposely restricted with our system to 1/2 Gallon/min (about 8 seconds to fill a cup). This is an important feature to ensure that water has enough contact time with the filtration media for optimal contaminant absorption, we can provide a full flow connector, which would result in 50% more water flow, but reduced filtration effectiveness.

6 years of researching water filters

I am a Natural Health Practitioner for over 40 years. Since I have been a young child I have had problems drinking tap water and I never knew WHY. It wasn't til many years later that I realized I was chocking on the fluoride and the chlorine that is in tap water. Even most bottled waters I had a problem with as they are NOT as pure as they state they are. After several years of dedicated research to find the BEST water system; several years ago I had decided that the R/O was the best overall, in that it removed the fluoride as well as all the rest of the garbage in the water which is enough to make anyone ill. it was also affordable; but it wasted a LOT of water. Right before I purchased the R/O, I had discovered the Alkaline Water Machine. Very costly, but, it seemed to fit all the other criteria; that one should use when purchasing a water system and I could get one with a fluoride removing filter. After spending over $1200 for this machine.(which was cheap next to what the other Alkaline machines were going for)..and removing my expensive pull out faucet in my kitchen; and replacing it with an regular kitchen faucet; the connectors still would NOT fit in my kitchen so it wound up in a bathroom. Very inconvenient to have till up water bottles in a bathroom and bring it down to my kitchen and then fill up a glass 2 gallon bottle in order to have water readily available to me in the kitchen to drink and use. Then, there was the costs of the filters that were suppose to last 1 year; which did NOT even last 6 months (and I am only 1 person drinking the water.)..so after all this, the water was good; but, tooo many problems to live with. So for the next year or more I had been buying water by the gallon and transporting it home to place in my 2 gallon water reservoir . I finally got tired of this routine and went back on line and started researching again; almost bought the R/O til I found the PureEffectFilters site...and NOT only did they overcome all the problems of water, including the Heavy Metals, Chemicals, Fluoride and Chlorine and Radiation problem; but to my delight.....it was very very Affordable and easy to install, not using much counter space and for the last OVER 1 month now I have been enjoying drinking water by 16oz glass; many times a day. I cook with it; and drink with it...and LOVE IT, Just really LOVE IT! I have been recommending it to all my friends and associates and they want it too (as they all know how many years I have been researching for a really good water system) I would certainly urge any and everyone to save yourself YEARS of research, and buy this water system. It has EVERYTHING that all the other systems have individually, and it is in one affordable water system. thank you IGOR, for creating the BEST and MOST affordable WATER SYSTEM that anyone can find!

After well water for 18 years and then moving to where I got city water I knew I was in need of something and I was not going to buy water. I got water at the store twice when the pump went out and not one was better than the well water I had.
Anyway I now have city water that has who knows what in it and lot of bad things and it tasted very bad/
But now I got "ULTRA | Countertop Fluoride, Radiation, Heavy Metal, Chem and Micro-Sediment Water Filter / Revitalizer" and love it. Keeps getting better or I am just tasting real good water I was not used to. Take water to the gym in a stainless steel bottle and wow that is when I really love the water. Forgot to fill it once and had to get water from the gym and it was so bad.
Another set of 5 Stars for PureEffectFilters.
